Decorated with a pair of flowers set with bright white diamonds and whiplash forms, a gorgeous maiden with flowing hair in the style of Alfons Mucha is framed in panels of plique a jour enamel in delicate shades of blue, pink and green. Done in marked and tested 14K yellow gold, it measures 1 1/16 x 1 Ό and is hung on a 16 14K yellow gold bar chain. In excellent condition, with NO damage or other faults to note, we have studied this closely and while it could indeed be of the era (as the estate it was purchased from claims), we cannot say for absolutely certain, so are dating it to the Art Nouveau Revival period of the 1960s. A fabulous example of true antique gold in quartz, this heavy ring is done in marked and tested 15K yellow gold with a cool snake skin motif. It holds an oval 11mm x 9mm, polished gold in quartz stone with a marble appearance and a good vein of gold. The inside is sentimentally engraved with the initials M.I.N and it weighs a solid 7.1 dwt (11.04 grams). A stunning platinum, high Art Deco bar pin dripping with pave diamonds depicting a sailboat riding diamond waves. Anchored to either end with ocean blue natural zircons makes me want to go sailing! The design is deco through and through, note the geometrically cut out frame, also encrusted with diamonds. These are genuine gems, and I am pretty confident they are garnets, but they have not been tested. Measuring 2 ½ long by Ό and fitted with an early safety claps, it weighs 2.9 or 4.5 grams. The center is a big, 8mm x 10mm bezel mounted oval garnet, north and south of it are 6mm kite cut amethysts, east and west find 5mm golden topaz and it is completed with 4 6mm aquamarines. High retro design defines this wonderful peacock fur clip - handcrafted in rose and yellow 18K gold. A round red, natural ruby is the eye and three emerald cut natural rubies tip the headfeathers, the engraved feathers in the tail are set with 16 gorgeous, natural, bright blue sapphires, each measuring about 5 mm. The overall gem weight is well over ½ carat and they are all very fine stones. A great example of sterling enamel work from Willy Winnζss (1911-2002), a designer for the David-Andersen company of Norway who was active in the 1950s. Leaves were a classic motif, the bracelet of this set is comprised of two rows of silver leaves, enameled in bright blue. It measures 7 ½ long by7/8 wide. The matching pin is 2 5/8 x Ύ. Both pieces are fully hallmarked D-A, Norway, Sterling and the W designer mark, along with the D-A scales.
