
#VFP-MM110 Russian? 14K Gold Gem Anchor Brooch
A pretty rose and yellow bloomed gold brooch, in the form of an anchor and measuring 1 Ύ x 5/8 and set with 3.4mm red stones (untested) and a single pearl. Sold to me as Russian, and is similar to other Russian pieces, but try as we might we cannot definitely make out the marks, so buy just as antique gold. Gold tested and held at least 14K- probably 18K. A scattered ding or two the only faults, t-bar hinge, c clasp and extended pinstem, c. 1900.

Striking necklace enhancer, made from natural, undyed coral with intricately carved chrysanthemums. Backed in silver, it measures 2 x Ύ x 7/16 thick. A good example of Chinese export silver, this pretty pin features ornate gilded silver filigree framing a carved and pierced green and white jade center. The pin measures 1 13/16 and is fitted to the back with safety clasp. #VFP-B1972 Magnificent Boxed Bailey, Banks & Biddle 18K Sardonyx Cameo
Well, rarely am I accused of being speechless, but I am having a hard time adequately describing this incredible find! A quite large 2 Ό x 1 7/8 pendant brooch, done in Etruscan beaded 18K gold and featuring an incredible, high relief, hardstone sardonyx portrait cameo of a woman in draped dress and veil. The brooch itself is a masterpiece, but even more amazing is it comes in the original Bailey, Banks & Biddle box and pouch! Fitted with a collapsible pendant bale and safety clasp (professionally replacing the original c clasp), the brooch, box and bag are all in very fine condition, with absolutely no wear to note. Weighing a whopping 27.4 dwt or 42.6 grams, it is sure to become the centerpiece of any cameo or Victoriana collection. c. 1880, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.

#EFN-B1977 Rare 18K Antique Gem Opal Bead Necklace
Hate to use the word rare, but these antique opal bead necklaces are really, really SO hard to find and this example is just a beauty! An unmarked, but tested 18K yellow gold open link chain (looks French in origin) is set with 14 - ½ sections of genuine opal gemstone beads and faceted crystal spacers. Each opal bead (28 in total) just glows, giving off magical flashes of reds, blues and green. The cut crystal spacers offer just the right amount of flash to the necklace, which measures 22 long by 5/8 wide. In excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or other flaws to note. #BJ5 Austrian Sterling Guilloche Enamel Pendant
A gorgeous sterling pendant, enameled in royal blue guilloche with engine turned engraving, accented with a border of white enamel that really sets off the rich color of the blue. The 1 13/16 (without the bale) pendent is crafted with a prettily scalloped edge that is very feminine. Fancy metal work in the sterling makes it sparkle like it is full of marcasites very well done! In the center of the blue enamel medallion is an applied floral vase decoration suited for the grandest of tables. In lovely condition, with no wear to note, the back is stamped Sterling Austria and 935 for silver content, a bit higher than standard sterling. A great mixed metal set, combining Arts & Crafts and Art Moderne design elements. The necklace is gilt brass with hammered copper note the great paisley design to the chain! The matching earrings repeat the paisley theme. The earrings have sterling screwbacks and measure 1 1/4" earrings they are marked simply Mexico. The necklace is about 15 1/2 (could easily add and extension) and the chunky center drop is 2 3/4" x 1 3/4". It is marked "Maya, Mexico" as shown. A gorgeous Edwardian era antique silver, true micromosaic festoon necklace, different from the norm due to the gorgeous purple iris motif drop and the Persian turquoise blue glass cabochons accents. Measuring 18 long, the central circular panel plus drop is 1 5/8 total. Stamped 800 for 800 silver content, it is in overall very good condition, under magnification I see one missing tile in two of the smallest circles and a partial one missing in the main drop (it may just have settled down, it is really hard to tell). Otherwise no other faults to note and it looks amazing on! c. 1910, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry!

#RSB-B1938 Chunky Italian Silver Charm Bracelet
Cool 1960s era Etruscan Revival charm bracelet, done in 800 silver and featuring 5 chunky charms, decorated with canetille design roping, bobbles and glass gems. It measures 7 long overall, with the dimensional charms varying in design and size, including a really nice stone set Ύ polished sterling heart, which was added and I think is older than the rest of the bracelet. The link bracelet is decorated in the same style as the charms and is fitted with a secure, heavy clasp. The whole thing weighs a whopping 28 dwt or 43.5 grams. In very good condition, with no wear to note, very well made.

#EFP - NB28 Art Deco 2 Ό Carat TDW Platinum Diamond Pin Pendant
A true Art Deco pin/pendant, completely encrusted with fine European cut diamonds set in platinum and accented with 4 calibre cut blue sapphires to add a bit of contrast and color. The largest center diamond weighs ½ carat (.50 points) and is bezel mounted as the center of an ornate flower. The overall measurement is 1 Ό, c. 1920. Exquisite millegrain work, finished with an early, rabbit ear safety clasp, clutch and double pendant loops. In excellent condition, with no wear to note, unmarked but tested and guaranteed platinum, may also have a rhodium plating, which was common for the era.

Three magical 5.6mm moonstones, mounted in a combination of rose and yellow gold and topped finished with two genuine 2.7mm blue sapphires create this lovely flower pendant from noted Newark jewelers Allsopp-Steller, Inc., the successor to Wordley, Allsopp & Bliss during the post-Depression era (Allsopp-Steller continued the use of WAB mark). Hallmarked 14K as well as the WAB mark, it measures 1 Ό long x 7/8 wide. The flower petals are done in rich, rose gold, the polished leaves are yellow gold. c. 1940, it is in excellent condition, with no wear to note and weighs 2.7 dwt or 4.1 grams.

An elegant Edwardian engagement ring, with a bright, polished platinum top that holds a 4.4 mm European cut diamond that weighs an estimated .33 points. The top is set upon a gorgeous 14K yellow gold filigree gallery, which while, beautiful, also allows the light to fully penetrate the stone. The platinum top is just as lovely with a hexagonal box setting that holds the diamond, millegrain work and engraved and scalloped edges. A sweet little c. 1900 pansy pin from Hedges & Co., done in 14K yellow gold and enameled in rich, black enamel. Finished with a seed pearl center, it measure a 5/8 and has a c clasp and good t-bar hinge. In excellent condition, with no wear to note, the enamel is good the light reflection makes it look a little funky, but it is all in good shape. Fully hallmarked for 14K along with the Hedges mark, weighs 2 dwt or 3.11 grams.

A very fine pair of Victorian rose gold black tracery enamel wedding bracelets, in the original velvet and satin presentation box. Unmarked, but tested and guaranteed solid 14K gold, they are c. 1880 and in excellent condition, with no wear to the bracelets and only expected, age appropriate wear to the box. Each measures ½ wide, with inside measurements of 2 3/16 x 1 Ύ (oval in shape), so will fit a small to medium wrist (about 6 Ό). DWT is 12.4 total or 19.28 grams.
