#935 - 18K Gold Diamond Portrait Bracelet

A stunning antique bracelet, done in unmarked, but tested 18K yellow gold and handcrafted with bezel mounted plaques depicting gorgeously wrought profiles of Art Nouveau ladies. The top has the added touch of two natural rubies and two natural diamonds set into the gold links, each about .05 points. Measuring 8 ¼" x ½", it weighs 14 dwt (21.7 grams) and is finished with a foldover clasp and safety chain. We are having a bit of trouble definitively dating this one, it could be truly from the Art Nouveau era but could be a bit later as well. Absolutely gorgeous and we have never seen another, perhaps a custom piece. Certified to be as described and to be authentic estate jewelry.

#NFB-B1982 18K Aesthetic Movement Bangle Bracelet

An exquisite bangle, wrought from 18K yellow gold and dating to the aesthetic era, inspired by the Japanese exhibits at the London Great Exhibition in 1851. Decorated with engraved and applied decorations of cranes, trees and other typical Japanese foliage, it measures 1 1/16” wide. Oval in shape, it is a good, wearable size at 2 ½” across and should fit all but the largest wrists. The decoration, patina, and clasp are beautiful and in excellent condition. The only item to note is some unusual wear at the hinge that looks like engraving that someone tried to rub out. Not be noticeable when worn and could possibly be polished out by a jeweler if you choose. It weighs a hefty 20.3 dwt (31.5 grams) of unmarked, but tested 18K gold. Very, very showy on, c. 1880, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.
