#2325 – Transitional Platinum Gold Diamond Pearl Necklace
A stunning Edwardian necklace, done in unmarked, but tested platinum topped 14K yellow gold and hung on a pretty old platinum chain. A transitional piece, you can see the Arts & Crafts influence in the design. Sprinkled with fine old European cut diamonds totaling about a carat, the largest one measures 2.5 mm. There are also 5 natural, silvery sea pearls. The centerpiece measures 1 7/8” wide by 1 9/16” long, the chain is 6 +" on either side. Beautifully crafted and in lovely condition, with absolutely no faults to note, it weighs in at 4.5 dwt (7.0 grams). Circa 1910, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.

#2356 – Art Deco Platinum Diamond Bar Pin
A very pretty Art Deco platinum and diamond bar pin in bow form - the cut and pierced work and fancy millegrain make it extra special. It is accented with bright white, bead and bezel set fine European cut diamonds totaling about one carat. The largest center one measures 3.8mm and they graduate down in size from there. #9084 – 14K Engraved Sloan & Co. Amethyst Posy Pin
A hard to resist Edwardian, 14K hand engraved and chased posy or corsage holder pin from noted American jeweler Sloan & Co. Bezel mounted with three 6.5 mm genuine amethysts in a rich shade of purple, they absolutely pop against the original bloomed patina of the gold. The gold frame arches to accommodate a spear to secure a single bloom or small bouquet of flowers. The piece measures 3 9/16” long x 7/8” wide and is 1” deep. It weighs 6 dwt (9.4 grams) and is fully hallmarked for Sloan as well as 14K. It is also beautifully engraved with the original owner's name - "Beatrice Humburch?" (can't quite make out the last name). In excellent condition, with no faults to note, c. 1910 – can’t you just see this as a special gift for a mother of the bride or groom (hint, hint!). My favorite figural of this update, this little turtle is full of character! I just love his little upturned mouth : ) He also sports quite the elaborate shell, with detailed engraving and a border of genuine rose cut diamonds. His body is rich, green enamel and his eye a glittering, genuine ruby – overall just very nicely done. Crafted from unmarked but tested 14K yellow gold and fitted with a sturdy trombone clasp. #9080 – Art Deco Platinum Diamond Sapphire Bow Pin
An Art Deco platinum, diamond and sapphire pin, in bow form with intricate cut and pierce work and fine millegraining. The center of the pin has a 5.2 mm diamond set in a double hexagonal box and weighs an estimated ½ carat. The center stone is surrounded by a sprinkle of 22 more diamonds, each about 2.5 mm and totaling over 1.1 carats. The center is tied at each end with French caliber cut sapphires, just like a real fabric bow and the ends are sprinkled with yet MORE diamonds – over another carat. Hard to describe, but absolutely beautiful to see! The pin measures 3” in length x ½” at its widest and weighs 5.3 dwt (8.3 grams). The total diamond weight is 2.60 carats and the diamonds are fine, full European cuts. Unmarked, but tested platinum. Circa 1925, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.

#DFR-B3039 Art Deco 18K Diamond and Emerald Cabochon Ring
A stunning, high domed, natural cabochon emerald is mounted in 18K white gold and surrounded by diamonds in this late Art Deco era ring. Evoking the glamour of the era, even the mounting is wonderful, with engraving and tiny carved flowers sprinkled down the shoulders and shank. The emerald is large at 7mm x 9mm and a rich, glowing sought after green color. The 20 – 2mm genuine diamonds are good ones, bright white and sparkling and frame the emerald to perfection. In overall excellent condition, the emerald does have some natural fissures but is stable and there is no other wear to note. Currently a sizeable 6 ¼, in it weighs 3.2 dwt (4.9 grams). #EFP-B2041 WAB 14K Intricate Feather Pin
A graceful, detailed feather pin accented with a glowing 4mm pearl from the Newark jewelry company, Wordley, Allsopp & Bliss. They were succeeded by Wordley-Bliss in 1915, so this pin pre-dates that time. It measures 2 3/8” x 5/16” and weighs 2.4 dwt (3.73 grams). The detail is very fine, the feather looks real and while simple, it is very attractive on. WAB jewels are at last coming into their own – they are becoming very collected as the quality stands up to any of the other jewelers of the era. Another good example of an Egyptian revival jewel, this one a little later and depicting a dimensional sphinx with blue enameled headdress and multicolored wings. #DEP-B2081 14K Red Enamel Riker Brothers Buckle Pin
Founded in Newark, N. J. in 1846, William Riker's company was first composed of
outsiders, but became Riker & Son in 1871, Riker & (three) Sons in 1873, and
Riker Bothers from 1892 - 1943. William Riker patented a number of successful
mechanical processes for the manufacture of jewelry, including two for ornamenting the
surface of jewelry and finger rings, and another for an improved sash fastener.
Riker jewelry is highly collectible and very sought after, so it is always fun to be able to
offer a piece! And a great example this is, too! A buckle motif brooch, uncommonly
enameled in red, it has a row of natural seed pearls bordered with a great Greek Key
design. It measures 1 5/16” x 1 1/16” and weighs 4 dwt (6.22 grams) and is fitted with a
t-bar hinge and early safety clasp. In near mint condition, with really no wear to
note, fully hallmarked 14K as well as with the Riker Brothers maker’s mark. Circa 1910,

A really pretty antique diamond lavaliere, done in 14K yellow gold and set with 5 good quality, old European cut diamonds. It measures a 1.2 inches by ¾” and hangs from a newer 14K yellow gold chain. Total diamond weight is about .75 - .85 points – the largest, center diamond is 4mm or roughly ¼ carat – it is hard to gauge exact diamond weight with old European cut. It is a nice one with approximately VS1 clarity and H in color. The others range from VS1 – VS2 and roughly from I to J in color. Altogether a lovely old pendant, certified to be as described and authentic antique jewelry.

#DFR-B2084 Art Deco 14K Filigree Diamond Cameo Flip Ring
Classic Art Deco white gold filigree flip ring, set to one side with a pretty shell cameo of a woman wearing a diamond necklace and to the other with a bezel mounted onyx gem with center diamond. So elegant and so Art Deco, either way you wear it. Nicely done, the filigree shoulders are slightly puffed, giving the ring a lot of dimension. The head of the ring measures 13/16” x 7/16” and it is currently a sizeable 5 ½”. It weighs 3.1 dwt (4.8 grams) and is marked and tested 14K, as well as “PEND” for Patent Pending. Typically I only see these in sterling or 10K, nice to have one in 14K. In excellent condition, with no wear to note, the flip mechanism is strong the head locks tightly in place. A heart and horseshoe motif encrusted with European cut diamonds and accented with natural sapphires – how can you not fall in love with the great Art Deco pin? The sparkling, bright white diamonds total approximately 1.30 carats, the faceted sapphires are .20 points each and the center cabochon sapphire is .75 points. It weighs 7.2 dwt (11.1 grams) and is fitted with a good, early safety clasp.
