#DSS-MM224 Art Deco Sterling Chrysoprase Necklace Set

A super, classic Art Deco geometric design necklace and bracelet prong set with chunks of green chrysoprase and further decorated with marcasite studded sections. Done in marked sterling, the bracelet measures 7” long and the necklace is 15 ¾” long with the centerpiece measuring 1 1/4” x 1”. Both pieces are in excellent condition, with no missing marcasites or other wear to note. Total combined weight is 22.6dwt (35.1 grams), circa 1920, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.

#ESP-MM154 – Lovely Sterling Champleve Enamel Sash Pin

This is a beauty – a light olive green sash pin – such an unusual color and a fantastic design! It measures a showy 3” x 1 3/8” and is marked “Champleve Sterling”, along with some other marks I am not sure of. Finished with the engraved prior owner’s name “Margaret”. Good heavy clasp and pinstem, looks like the original “c” clasp was replaced. Weighs 14.4 dwt (22 grams). c. 1910, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.

#DSP-B2029 Large Showy Silver Marcasite Dagger Pin

Looking ever so much like fine gem emeralds and platinum, this dagger pin is a huge 4 ¾” long x 2 3/16”. Not for the faint of heart, it is crafted from silver, sprinkled with a myriad of sparkling marcasites, accented with green art glass and topped with a fat, silvery, faux pearl. Beautifully crafted, fitted to the back with a long pin stem and rabbit ear safety clasp, it is in excellent condition, with no wear to note. The workmanship looks very Russian or French, but it is marked simply “Silver”. It weighs 15.4 dwt (23.9 grams), it is in excellent condition, with no wear to note. #DSP-MM145 Deco Sterling Czech Art Glass Peacock Pin

A beautiful, proud late Art Deco peacock, with tail fully spread, is crafted in sterling and set with nine amazing Czech 5mm x 7mm art glass stones in the tail. Flashes of red and blue in the stones make it very similar to saphiret glass, but it is not as brown as I typically see, so am just calling it art glass. The peacock is just awesome, very well crafted, measuring 2 ½” and weighing a solid 25.3 dwt (39.3 grams). Marked “Sterling”, with a hint of rose gold wash, it has an early rabbit ear safety clasp, and is in excellent condition, with no wear to note. #BN12 - Floral Sterling Enamel Sash Pin

A gorgeous sterling and guilloche enamel sash pin, measuring 2 ¾” x 2” and featuring white and blue guilloche enamel decorated with delicately enameled tiny pink flowers and leaves. Hallmarked with three English type marks, including a lion passant, which I have shown, but they don’t really correspond to any date marks I could find, they are possibly Australian. In excellent condition, with no wear that I can find to note, tested and guaranteed sterling. Certified to be as described and to be authentic estate jewelry.

#DSN-MM202 German High Art Deco Chrysophase and Marcasite Necklace

This is a true Art Deco necklace, done in sterling and featuring polished chrysophase or green onyx triangles, accented with sprinkles of marcasites. The center section measures 7/8” x 9/16”, then there are 4 - 1” textured and patterned geometric sterling silver sections of classic Deco design and two more green triangles. Little floral links attach everything and it is finished with a fancy paperclip link chain and spring ring clasp – the overall length is 16”. Marked sterling on the clasp and “Germany” on the next link, it is in excellent condition. Circa 1925, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.

Floral Bar Pin

A row of delicately enameled pink and purple roses on a black background trail along on this lovely tapering sterling bar pin. Measuring a quite showy 3 13/16” x ¼”, it is marked “935”, along with an unusual maker’s mark that looks like a wagon wheel and a star. I have tried to research it to no avail – if you recognize it, let me know, it has my curiosity piqued. In excellent condition, with no wear to note, really a great looking piece! #DSR-B3120 Deco Silver and Gold French Paste Ring

What a wonderful example of Art Deco French paste. A colorful navette shape, it is accented with red, pink and green paste with a glittering diamond paste border. Done in gold with the stones set in sterling, it measures 1” x 5/8”, weighs 3.5 dwt (5.4 grams) and is currently a sizeable 7. #3456 - Dragon's Breath Paste Earrings

An exceptional example of dragon's breath stones (shimmering raspberry and electric blue hued art glass, often confused with saphiret or opal). The cabochons are bezel mounted in repousse gilt washed, marked sterling settings and are surrounded by a frame of paste stones. A good size at 1 1/16" x 5/8", they are in excellent condition, with no wear to note and a rich patina that makes the stones glow that much more. Screwbacks, for unpierced ears, but could be converted if you choose, they weigh 7.7dwt (12.1 grams). Certified to be as described and to be authentic estate jewelry.

What a great pair of antique silver earrings! Dangly and flirty, they are 2 ½” long by 1” at the widest, they have three sections of filigree and applied silver Chinese designs. Fitted with screwbacks, though easily converted to pierced, they weigh 8 dwt (12.4 grams) and are in excellent condition, though could use a polish if you choose. #DSN-B2013 Theodor Fahrner Hammered Oval Link Sterling Necklace

A very handsome sterling necklace by Theodor Fahrner, comprised of 15 hand crafted oval links joined by thin oblong links to total 15 ½” long and 7/16” wide. Marked 925 along with the Fahrner hallmark, it weighs 20 dwt (31.1 grams). In excellent condition, with a rich, unpolished patina. #DSP-B2006 Signed Theodor Fahrner Jeweled Enamel Bow Watch Pin

A great find, this Fahrner watch pin is in the form of an articulated bow with a geometric design studded with marcasites. Accented with black enamel edges, it frames a gorgeous hot pink stone center measuring 10x8 mm. (The stone is untested, probably glass.) The pin measures 1 7/16” long x 5/8” wide and has a chatelaine hook for a pendant watch. The back is fully marked 935 for silver content as well as with the maker’s mark for Theodor Fahrner. A good example of early Fahrner, in overall excellent condition with some light abrasion to the stone the only item to note. #ESP-MM125 Edwardian Enamel Sterling Pin with Grapes Motif

The perfect gift for a wine lover, or just fun to wear for a day at the winery, this 1 ¼” round sterling brooch is richly enameled with two bunches of purple grapes and emerald green leaves that just pop off the soft cream enamel background. #DSB-MM181 Firecracker Red Diamonbar Art Deco Sterling Bracelet

Excellent example of an Art Deco era line bracelet from noted maker Diamonbar. Specializing in bracelets and bangles, Diamonbar was the trademark of the Wachenheimer Brothers Co., a Providence jewelry firm that was founded in 1909 and ceased operations in the early part of the 1930’s. Collectors just love these bracelets and for good reason, they are very well made and such fun to wear! I love this one with it’s perfectly matched, bold red glass jewels in ornately engraved box settings. It measures 7” long x 5/16” and the stones are a big 8mm x 8mm. It weighs 19.8 dwt (30.7 grams) and is marked Diamonbar as well as Sterling. In excellent condition, the patina is as found, you can polish if you choose. A pair of dramatic, true Art Deco sterling and marcasite dangle earrings, decorated with a square of faceted quartz. #ESE-MM191 - Johan G. Kjaerland Plique a Jour Earrings

These are beautiful Johan G. Kjaerland plique a jour, sterling silver earrings. These screwback earrings are from Norway and date to the very early 1900s. Kjaerland excelled in the enameling technique, and created outstanding masterworks that are highly valued. The earrings are very ornate and have green, red and yellow plique enameling, resembling miniature stained glass windows. Hallmarked Sterling JGK 925S, these earrings are about 1 and 1/2" long and are in excellent condition, with no crazing or other faults to note. A showy Chinese gilt silver bracelet, with graduated links of filigree formed as budding flowers. Beautifully crafted, it measures 7 ¾” long by 1 ¼” at the widest and is fitted with a push in locking clasp that holds well. It has a rich, unpolished patina, I love the way these old gilt pieces mellow with age, but you could polish it if you choose.
