A fabulous find – a beautiful, late Edwardian era sterling compact, brightly enameled to the front with delightful figures under a fruit tree, dancing and playing music by the sea. The back is finished with pretty, engine turned blue guilloche enamel. The compact measures 2 ½” round and even retains the original screen and powder puff, which is marked “A Hygiene Product”. Hallmarked with a maker’s mark of “BF”, and weighing 56.1 dwt (87.2 grams), it is in excellent condition, with no wear to the enamel or other wear to note. Certified to be as described.

Six fancy cut natural amethysts, measuring 6mm are mounted in a heavy 14K yellow gold setting and accented with 6 little 1mm diamonds set into bands of wide gold. This was sold to me as a Russian memoriam brooch, but I have no idea if it is or not, it just caught my fancy - I thought it was interesting and the picture was very sweet. The star is made from red plastic, the camera did not catch it, but it is clear and looks like glass. It is mounted in a brass frame and has a simple safety pin style clasp. The picture is of a small child in a Peter Pan collar under celluloid. It measures 1” x 1”, with the image being about ½” round and is in very good condition. A lovely, Art Nouveau festoon necklace, with a center whiplash and carved leaf design holding a bright blue, 4mm Montana sapphire and natural Mississippi river pearls with additional pearls decorating the festooned chains. There are a total 13 pearls in all, ranging from 8mm to 4mm. The centerpiece measures 1” x 1” and the chain is 15 ½”. #RSP-MM269 Very Cool Sandor Sterling Mother of Pearl Flower Brooch
This 1940’s era Sandor brooch is just very unique, the pictures do not really do it justice. An iridescent carved, mother of pearl flower is set to the center with oval, foil-backed rhinestones and mounted in a gilt washed sterling bow. It measures 2 ¼” x 2” and weighs 15.7 dwt (24.4 grams). Sandor was founded in 1938 by Sandor Goldberger and ceased production in 1972. Known primarily for flowers and figurals, I have not seen this example before. In all original condition, some softening to the rhinestones and dark patina to the gilt finish the only items to note, fully hallmarked Sterling and Sandor in block letters. These stunning and very versatile diamond stud earrings come with three matching jeweled jackets to go with just about any outfit. Wear the studs alone or add either the genuine ruby, emerald or diamond jackets for a little more bling. For some reason the emerals keep showing up blue in the photos, but they are indeed a deep, rich green. Each jacket weighs 1.3 dwt (2 grams) and holds 11-2mm gems. A cool pendant from Norwegian silversmith Aksel Holmsen, measuring ¾” round and enameled with a flower design in interesting colors of yellow, lilac and blue. In very good condition, with some darkening to the lilac enamel (much more evident in the photos than in person), it has a spring clasp and is ready for the chain of your choice. A very cool, very Art Deco clip done in sterling and paste aquamarine and rhinestones. The center, unfoiled blue stone is gorgeous and looks very real. It is framed with rhinestone baquettes and the back is fitted with an unusual clip mechanism. It measures 1 ½” square and weighs 23.4 dwt (36.3 grams). In excellent condition, with an array of French sterling hallmarks, including “Made in France” and a maker’s mark of “MEOAN”.
