An exceptional modernist sterling enamel set from Norwegian designer Øystein Balle. The 1 ¾” x 1 ¼” pin and ¾” square clip earrings are done in brilliant shades of enamel and look wonderful on. The set weighs 11.1 dwt (17.2 grams) and is in excellent condition, with no wear to note. Fully hallmarked “BALLE, 925S, Sterling, Norway”, c. 1950’s, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.

Dangly Victorian Gold Onyx Earrings

Always in style, these great Victorian earrings are made from polished pieces of onyx set in 10K yellow gold. They have fish hooks wires for pierced ears and the dangles give them plenty of movement. A great size at 1 ½” long – not too overwhelming for day, but showey enough for night, they weigh 1.8 dwt (2.7 grams) each. Unmarked, but tested and guaranteed 10K, they are in excellent condition, with no wear to note. Circa 1900, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.

A hip Victorian bangle bracelet with lovely lavender amethyst gems and applied gold swirls. Very reminiscent of a Sloan & Co. jeweled bangle, but it is unmarked. It is a good size at 8” around and will fit most wrists and it is ¼” wide. It weighs 7.3 dwt (11.3 grams) and is in excellent condition with no dings, dents or other wear to note. Unmarked, but tested and guaranteed 14K with a rich patina, circa 1900, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.

14K Hans Hansen Modernist Brooch

A great Modernist oval brooch from noted Danish design house Hans Hansen. Hans Hansen was purchased by Royal Copenhagen in 1991 and jewelry is still made under the signature today. The brooch was found in a great CD Peacock Chicago box, it measures 2 ¼” x 1 ¼” and is a weighty 6.6 dwt (10.2 grams). In excellent condition and a great collector’s piece, it is fully hallmarked “585” for 14K, script Hansen signature, Denmark and #103. Circa 1940, in excellent condition, with no wear to note.

I normally shy away from antique watches, I just don’t know enough about them, but could not walk away from this one – a beautiful, white gold filled Gruen with ornate case and face, original band and best of all, it works well. The case is heavily engraved, the face is marked Gruen, scrolled and enameled with blued hands, the mesh band has engraved ends and unique, engraved clasp, overall just a great, wearable and usable example of an antique watch. The face measures 1” x ½”, the band is 6” x 5/16” and it weighs 15.1 dwt (23.4 grams). Circa 1920, in amazing condition, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.

A finely crafted Victorian brooch in flower form, made from marked and tested 18K yellow gold and set with an array of natural gemstones - rubies, sapphires, diamonds and seed pearls. It measures 1 ½” x 5/8” and weighs 1.9 dwt (2.9 grams), it is fitted with a t-bar hinge, extended pinstem and “c” clasp. A Mexican sterling Art Deco cigarette case in the form of an envelope, push on the lower section and it pops open with a very cunning mechanism. It measures 5” x 3” and can easily be used as a small purse for cash and a few coins instead of cigarettes. Marked “Mexico, Sterling”, with no maker’s mark, it weighs 94.6 dwt (147.1 grams) and is in excellent condition, with some light scratches easily polished out the only item to note. The spring mechanism is tight and works well. Circa 1920’s, certified to be as described and of the stated era.

A fantastic example of high Art Deco design, polished pieces of black onyx and chrysoprase are fitted in a geometric design and mounted in sterling. Art Deco Black Onyx & Chrysoprase Bracelet

#RSN-B80924 Signed Sterling Native American Zuni Kachina Necklace

This is a wonderful, artist signed Zuni sunface necklace. The centerpiece, which depicts a Native American sunface is framed with eagle wings higher up the chain and finished with 4 dangles. Crafted in traditional design with cut and polished natural turquoise, coral, jet and mother of pearl, it is hung on a sterling paperclip chain and measures 19”. Signed “JD Massie” on an applied plaque on the back, it is in excellent condition, with no wear to note. We think this is an early example of Massie’s work, c. 1945 or so.
