#NFR-MM149 - Fine 14K Diamond Art Nouveau Revival Face Ring
This is a beautiful ring, finely cast in 14K yellow gold in the Art Nouveau style, depicting a maiden with flowing hair and whiplash form. According to the person I bought it from, it was acquired from an old Manhattan, NY jewelry store that has been closed for over 30 years and is new, old stock. He said they had items from as old as the 1930s, but based on the style, we think this dates to the 1940s. No matter the age, it is just gorgeous and very showy on the hand. She is accented with a 4mm, bright, white old-cut diamond weighing approximately .20 - .25 points. The face measures 1 1/16 x 5/8 and curves to a three band shank which is Ό wide. Currently a sizeable 6 ½, fully marked and tested 14K, it has a good weight of has total weight of 4 dwt (7.5 grams). It is in very good condition, with no wear to note. Certified to be as described and to be authentic estate jewelry.
