What a cutie! A fat bumblebee is wrought in 18K white and yellow gold in the form of a pin. The body is engraved and studded with bobble, the eyes are faceted blue sapphires and the outspread wings are encrusted with brilliant cut, pave diamonds – totaling an estimated .80 tdw! It measures 1 ¼” long by 1” wide and sits up 5/8”. Fitted with a good safety clasp and weighing a heavy 7.9 dwt (12.2 grams), it is fully marked and tested 18K as well as with an unknown maker’s mark. In excellent condition, with no wear to note, c. 1960, certified to be as described and to be authentic antique jewelry.

This is the wide version of the tri-color gold Cartier rolling ring. Three entwined bands of 18K gold - one yellow, one white and one rose combine to create this classic design. Each band is 3/16” wide the ring is currently a size 5 ½. It weighs 9.5dwt (14.7 grams) and is fully marked “750”, “Cartier”, the number 53 and then further marked with the French Cartier hallmark as well as “C1997”. In excellent condition, with no wear to note, certified to be as described and to be authentic Cartier.

This gorgeous designer ruby and diamond locket is of superior quality, with a center, natural pear shaped ruby, framed by swags of crossed diamonds and 6 more ruby rounds. All the stones are top notch color and clarity – this is very high end, but unfortunately we cannot identify the maker’s mark. Measuring 1 ½” to the top of the diamond studded bale by 1”, it weighs 11 dwt (17.1 grams). Fully marked and tested 18K, it is in excellent condition, with no wear to note. Gold would benefit from a gentle polish, I think, but will let the new owner do to taste. Not quite sure of the age, but certified to be as described and authentic antique jewelry.

You cannot help but smile when you see this 18K carved yellow gold pin of a very happy bunny offering a diamond and sapphire flower! He sports pave diamond and sapphire eyes, a baguette diamond buck tooth and a red ruby nose. The pin measures 2” x 1 ¾” and is just darling – the designer had to be smiling while making him! All the stones are very high quality and natural – the sapphires range from 3 – 4mm, the ruby is 2mm, the diamonds from 4mm for the buck tooth down to 1.5mm in the eyes. A lot of fun to wear, it weighs a hefty 20.8 dwt (32.2 grams) and is marked and tested 18K along with an unknown maker’s mark. In excellent condition, with no wear to note, circa 1970. This is a stunning 18K pin in the form of a butterfly that has it all! Framing the curved wings of the butterfly are approx 32 – 2 mm baguette sapphires and 8 more sapphires on the wings creating symmetry. The body is composed of two large 5mm sapphires and two smaller 1.5 mm ones as the head and tail. All of the sapphires are natural, mined gems and are a rich shade of blue! Sprinkled on the gold background of the wings are 53 – 1 mm sparkling diamonds. The brooch measures 1.2” x 1” and it weight 5 dwt (7.7 grams). The epitome of Retro - a sunburst or pinwheel pendant brooch crafted in rich, 14K rose gold. It features spokes studded with prong mounted natural rubies radiating from a center ball engraved in a star motif and set with more rubies alternating with genuine diamond. There are a total of 44 rubies, each averaging .05 points and 7 diamonds of about .02 points each, giving the piece a total gem weight of just under 2 ½ carats. This classic Elsa Peretti design open heart pendant is the ultimate in romance. Measuring 7/8”, it is pave-set with 35 G grade, VVS quality diamonds sprinkled almost completely around the heart. Estimated diamond size is 1.5 to 2 points, so there is at least 1/ 2 carat TDW.
It hangs from an authentic 18” Tiffany & Co. 18K chain. The pendant is fully hallmarked “Tiffany & Co.”, 18K and Elsa Peretti®. The chain is marked “Tiffany & Co.” and “750” for 18K. Both pieces are in lovely condition and weigh 5.5 grams. I just checked Tiffany’s site and they have a similar pendant, with less diamond weight, priced at $2450. This well made American flag pin is dripping with gems, there are 22 diamonds just in the flag pole and another 40 or so in the stripes of the flag, alternating with 42 channel set square, red rubies. The stars are symbolized with 20 bead set blue sapphires - all the gems are mined and are natural, quite a little work of jewelry art. It measures 1 5/8” x 1” and weighs 4.4 dwt (6.8 grams). Marked and tested 14K, along with a unknown maker’s mark of “RJC”. In excellent condition, with no wear to note, good safety clasp. Viva la France! This showy, enameled red, white and blue bow and ribbon pin has a knot of diamonds in the center, along with the words “Liberte, Egalite and Fraternite” – the official motto of France since 1946, spelled out in at least 2 carats of sparkling diamonds steaming the ribbons. It means Liberty, Equality and Fraternity (Brotherhood). The original motto of the French Revolution in the late 1700’s included “ou la mort” meaning “or death”, but this milder version is the one used today. The brooch measures 1 3/8” across, is 2” long and weights a solid 12.7 dwt (19.7 grams). Marked and tested 14K on the sturdy rabbit ear safety clasp, it is in excellent condition, with no wear to note. Great gift for your favorite Francophile! A branch of 18K gold is adorned with seven natural oval gemstones as leaves in this great Retro era brooch. Each gemstone is prong set and measures approximately 8.6 mm x 6.8 mm. Stones include a gorgeous, electric blue aquamarine, 1 deep purple amethyst, 1 pigeon blood red garnet, a sparkling canary yellow citrine an orange sapphire or garnet, a pink sapphire or topaz and a soft white topaz. Great color combination, especially against the buttery yellow patina of the gold! The brooch measures just under 2” long by 1 7/8” at the widest and weighs 3.4 dwt (5.3 grams).
