#RFN-B9193 Numbered 14K WG Diamond Heart Necklace – 1.5+ Carats
While you will see many different variations on this design, but it is much more difficult to find one comprised of such high quality diamonds! The 14K white gold heart holds 24 prong set, top quality, full brilliant cut stones, slightly graduated and perfectly matched for color and clarity. The diamonds average .07 points each for a total diamond weight of over 1.5 carats. The heart measures 1 1/8” x 1” and is numbered on the back “3482” – not sure of the designer, but no denying it is an exceptional piece. It hangs on a pretty 16” 14K yellow gold chain and the total weight is 1.5 dwt (2.3 grams). #RFP - NB30 Huge Amethyst Diamond Pearl Pin Pendant
Well, where do I start with this vintage creation? Crafted from unmarked but tested 14K yellow gold, it is set to the center with a large 16mm round genuine amethyst. This is framed with genuine 2.7mm pearls. The rest of the brooch is a combination of scrolling, engraved leaves, sprinkled with 7 European cut diamonds of about 2.5mm each and finished with three more pearls. Signed on the back “ALA” and fitted with a safety clasp and pendant loop, it weighs 9.5 dwt or 14.77 grams and measures 1 5/8”. In very good condition, with the only fault some spots of solder on the back where the frame was reinforced – not evident from the front, so does not affect the look or the wear.

Yes, I know I use a lot of superlatives in my descriptions, but I do get SO excited about our jewelry finds! This one, though, I really fell hard for and have been plotting a reason to keep it. Alas, since my current lifestyle leans towards flip flops and board shorts, I just can’t rationalize it – maybe the new owner will rent it to me if I ever go somewhere other than the beach someday : ) Weighing a whopping 67.7 dwt (105.2 grams – over 3 ounces!) of polished, marked and tested 14K yellow gold, it is 9/16” wide and a great length at 17 ½”. There are anestimated 2 carats of sparkling diamonds that weigh approximately .04 each – 5 sections of 10 stones each. As well as 14K, marked “Italy” along with another mark we can’t quite make out, it is in excellent condition with NO wear to note. These look fantastic on, but were really hard to photograph for some reason! Each sports about .75 carats of clean, bright white diamonds, ranging in size from .02 to .10 points. Done in 14K white gold on super comfortable rocker back clips. They measure 1 1/8” long by ¾” at the widest, and weigh a total of 4.8 dwt (7.6 grams). Six realistic cast oyster shells are linked to form this weighty gold bracelet from noted Beverly Hills jeweler to the stars, William Ruser. Loretta Young was among his earliest clients, followed by Joan Crawford and many of the other leading ladies of the day. The store closed in 1969 and is now home to Van Cleef & Arpels. Each shell measures 1 ¼” x 21/4” inches and the overall length is 7”. It weighs in at a hefty 31.5 dwt or 48.9 grams. Mouth watering natural aquamarines are nestled amongst engraved 14K yellow gold leaves in this lovely Retro era necklace and bracelet set. Clusters of aquas in a floral motif adorn the centerpiece of the necklace, the bracelet has alternating gems and leaves. Each oval gem ranges in size from 5mm x 7.6mm to 6mm x 7.4mm. Both the bracelet and necklace have 8 stones each - the bracelet measures 7 1/16” x 3/8”, the necklace 14 ¾” x 11/16”. Finished with posts for pierced ears and good Omega backs for security (easy to remove the posts and just use the clips for un-pierced ears), they weigh a combined 6 dwt or 9.33 grams. A pretty Art Nouveau style brooch from Binder Bros. of New York, done in 14K yellow gold and set with a gorgeous center amethyst stone that measures 13mm x 10mm. It is accented with 4 – 3mm pearls and pretty gold lotus leaves. It measures 1 5/16” x 1 1/8” and is fitted to the back with a safety clasp. Having trouble definitively dating this one, but it is gorgeous no matter the age. The amethyst is the perfect color purple – not too dark nor too light and the brooch is very well constructed. The brooch weighs 3.8 dwt (5.9 grams). In excellent condition, with no wear to note, hallmarked 14K and the interlocking letter B’s in circles for Binder Brothers. He measures 2 ½” x ¾”, there is a TDW of .62 points and there are .70 points of rubies, sapphires and emeralds. He weighs 5.7dwt (8.8 grams) and the body tests as 18K yellow gold, while the head is 14K.
